The shoes are very silver and have a plastic sole.The fit is nice, and the material body allows some movement, which means your toes are not bound in place like some shoes. The downside is that the seam on the inside can be obvious and rub.The sole is a plastic type and while it allows for sure footed steps any spin or such is a little harder since this sole has a moderate grip. Something to keep in mind.Compared to a the leather soles this shoe has a lot more grip.Overall, it is an OK practice shoe style shoe, but maybe not the one for when you really want to get out there
